Mercedes-AMG GT and GLC recalled

Mercedes-Benz Australia has recalled 604 vehicles across the AMG GLC63 and GT63 model lines, due to a fault which can cause a loss of power.
“Due to a software issue, the high-voltage starter generator may experience an intermittent overload, which could deactivate functions of the system. If this occurs, the vehicle may experience loss of propulsion whilst driving,” the carmaker said in its recall notice.
“A loss of propulsion whilst driving could increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to vehicle occupants and other road users.”
