Midland assault: 84-year-old woman remains in hospital after being ‘assaulted’ in fast food carpark
Detectives are looking to speak with a 29-year-old woman after an elderly woman was allegedly knocked to the ground and seriously injured in the carpark of a fast food restaurant.
An 84-year-old woman is recovering in Royal Perth Hospital after she was allegedly assaulted outside a Midland restaurant on Great Eastern Highway around 12.35pm on Saturday.
It is alleged the attacker fled the scene on foot after she approached the woman and knocked her over.
Police allege the elderly victim suffered serious head injuries before she was taken to Royal Perth Hospital in an ambulance.
She was in a stable condition on Sunday.
Police are now searching for the alleged attacker. She known to frequent areas around the Perth metropolitan area and was last seen wearing a black shirt and shorts.
She is described as having a medium build, 160cm tall with brown hair and eyes.
Anybody who sees Ms Miller is strongly urged to not approach her but to call police immediately on 131 444 and quote incident number 161124 1245 17543.
