Dianella missing man: 80 year-old man that went missing in Perth’s north found

An 80 year-old man — who doesn’t know Dianella and does not speak English — has been found after sparking a search when he went missing on Sunday morning.

Yeongju Jeong went for a walk in the Dianella area around 6am on October 6, and did not return.

WA Police said concerns were held for his safety and welfare.

Just before 5pm, WA Police advised that that Mr Jeong had been located in Morley and reunited with his family.

“A member of the public recognised him from the public appeal and called police,” they said.
