Narrogin Dental claims to be the most advanced dental clinic in the Wheatbelt with the recent addition of a 3-D scanner.

Dr Viv Alagati said 3-D scans of the entire mouth would help provide better treatment for implants, wisdom teeth removal and other surgery.

“Before we purchased this scanner, we could only see a 2-D scan of the mouth,” Dr Alagati said.

“Now we can see a digital 3-D scan of the whole jaw that shows individual teeth, right down to infections and into the sinus.”

He said even some practices in Perth did not have the technology.

“I have some friends who work in Perth that don’t have this scanner, so we are a very modern dentist for the country ... our patients love it, they don’t have to wait around anymore,” he said.

Dr Alagati and his staff have been providing dental services to the Narrogin community for about a decade.
