Narrogin Children and Families Inc. hold raffle to help build new children's centre and support families

Narrogin Children and Families Incorporated is ecstatic to launch its third fundraising campaign in its ongoing quest to build a new children’s centre in town. The Betta Father’s Day raffle launched on Tuesday in collaboration with Narrogin and Katanning Betta Home Living where the three winners will receive a $2500, $1000, and $500 Betta Home Living voucher in order of raffle pull. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased through the QR code on NFCI’s social media or over the counter at Narrogin and Katanning Betta Home Living. The raffle will be drawn on August 31 and proceeds will fund the research and design of the new children’s centre. In light of the school care program’s recent closure, NCFI president Kellie Wilkins said this project has become a major stakeholder for the future of families in Narrogin. “It’s so exciting because we’re trying to target the raffle and help locals with the cost of living,” she said. “While they’re helping us through donations and buying tickets, they’re potentially getting a kickback that can help their entire family. “For a $5 ticket, it’s a real opportunity to make an impact on people’s lives and households.” The 12 volunteers raffled a combined voucher for Narrogin Fruit Market and Country Fresh Meats just before Christmas last year and a shopping trolley full of food on March 23.
