In true festive spirit, homes and businesses all over Narrogin brought their A-game to this year’s Christmas lights competition.

With more than 20 displays in town, judges visited every street in search of Narrogin’s best Christmas lights. The competition was won by Alan and Lindy Donaldson of Fox Street.

Judges described their property as the clear winner, with its combination of wooden cut-outs and lights covering the whole yard.

Second place went to Wayne and Michelle Ewen of Harper Street, with Mark and Sue Regan of Hale Street coming in third with their white angels and nativity scene.

The judges said they were impressed by the number of lights displays throughout Narrogin and Highbury. “It was difficult to choose between the many different styles of decoration,” they said.

In the best business window in the CBD competition, judged by Narrogin Chamber of Commerce, Wild and Waste Free took first prize for its hand-painted display. Winners received Narrogin Chamber of Commerce vouchers.
