More than 4000 people passed through the gates of Clayton Road on Saturday for the annual Narrogin Agricultural show, celebrating 114 years.

For many it wasn’t their first time at the show and there were many new attractions for them.

Seven rides made their debut appearance at this year’s show, while many new food trucks were in Narrogin for the first time and plenty of small businesses came on board to showcase their products.

Williams Woolshed hosted the fashion parade, Dinkum Dinosaurs made a return and St John Ambulance also joined the party.

Snakes, blue tongue lizards, a long-necked tortoise, tawny frogmouth and even a dingo could be found at Ranger Red’s Roving Wildlife display.

Narrogin Agricultural Society president Vicki Chadwick said show-goers weren’t put off by another year of underwhelming weather.

“The weekend went well considering the weather, a little bit chilly.

“Overall everyone seemed quite happy with the event and we were quite happy with the whole event,” she said.

Ms Chadwick said the organising committee was already looking towards making the 2019 show a success.

“We’re having a debrief next week at looking on things to improve on, which is natural every year,” she said.
