A missing Perth woman living with dementia has been located safe and well in East Perth.

Ruby Joseph, 68, went missing after she was last seen in the vicinity of Munsey Street in Ardross about 8pm on Friday night.

WA Police set up a command post at Wireless Hill Park on Saturday morning with SES teams and SES dogs, Water Police and WA Police emergency operations unit members assisting with the search.

Ms Joseph was located safe and well in East Perth after hours of searching.

Police held concerns for Ms Joseph’s welfare as she lives with dementia.

“Ms Joseph lives with dementia and it is unusual for her to go off by herself,” a police spokesperson said.

“Ms Joseph is mostly non-verbal and may not answer if someone approaches her.”
