VideoTonight's Powerball has rocketed to $60 million.

Everyone can — for a few hours at least — dream of being a multimillionaire by winning tonight’s staggering $60 million Powerball jackpot.

That’s right, there’s a cool $60 mill up for grabs with no one scooping the loot in the past five weeks.

Lotto agents across WA and Australia are expected to be super busy as punters cross their fingers and buy tickets, with up to one-in-six adults expected to have an entry in the draw.

Lotterywest spokesman James Mooney said HQ had been humming with excitement.

“There’s $60 million on offer in tonight’s Powerball draw and we can’t wait to see if a West Aussie takes home the prize,” he said.

“We are expecting our busiest period for ticket sales between 4pm and 5pm on Thursday afternoon, predicting more than 500 tickets to be sold each minute.

“Our advice is to get your tickets early and make sure they’re registered so we can contact you if you win.”

The Powerball jackpot comes on the back of the launch of new Lotto game Millionaire Medley.

It offers three draws each week — Monday, Wednesday and Friday — and gives up to six winners a guaranteed $1 million prize. “Millionaire Medley will draw every Friday starting from May 20, meaning if you miss out on a prize in Thursday’s Powerball draw you can still round off your week with a Millionaire Medley ticket,” Mr Mooney said.

For those hoping to get ahead of tonight’s game, the most frequently drawn winning numbers from the main barrel are 4, 6, 20, 25 and 34.

The least frequently drawn numbers are 8, 11, 28 and 29. The five-week Powerball jackpot run has raised more than $7 million for Lotterywest’s grants program supporting events such as Subi Blooms, which will display a breathtaking display of floral artistry throughout the streets of Subiaco for Mother’s Day on Sunday.

Tickets for tonight’s game are available until 6pm in-store, online or on the Lotterywest app.
